Adriana is a native of Chile living in the USA since 1959. She has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Chile. Since the 1970's she has studied art in Dallas at UTD and Brookhaven College and in Pietrasanta, Italy since 1987, where she has traveled almost every summer to learn about carving marble and to obtain marble to continue carving at her studio in Dallas.

Her art is an expression of her training in the sciences. She obtains her inspiration in the organic and abstract shapes of nature and is a professor of Biology at Richland College in Dallas Texas. Adriana has four daughters and five grandchildren and is a widow. She lives in Dallas with her dog "Petrouchka".
